I’m the #1 running injury expert in Davie, FL. I was born in South Florida and grew up in a highly athletic family. I swam collegiately in Indiana, and sports have always been a central part of my life. My two younger sisters and older brother were also involved in sports – one was a collegiate diver, and the other was a swimmer.

I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my energetic dog, and I volunteer on weekends with a special needs group at my church.

Like many in this field, I always wanted to work in sports. I initially thought I’d pursue coaching or recruiting, but my path took a turn during my college years when I struggled with shoulder pain that only worsened. Despite following prescribed treatments, nothing worked, and eventually, I had surgery. It was during my recovery that I discovered physical therapy – and it clicked. I realized I could help athletes while staying connected to the sports world, and that’s when I decided to become a physical therapist.

After graduating, I worked at a hospital, but the patient population wasn’t aligned with my passion for athletes. So, I opened my first clinic, Ageless Agility, working outdoors at parks and rec centers before moving into a warehouse space.

First, during your initial evaluation and any treatment sessions thereafter, we make sure you have the space to talk and feel heard. When you come in to meet with your physical therapist, we take the time to listen. This could be a quick 10-minute chat or a 30-minute conversation – the priority is to answer all of your questions and ease any concerns you have. You’ll have the chance to tell us what’s going on, and we’ll listen carefully to figure out how we can help.

What also sets us apart is our treadmill video filming session. After a short warm-up, we film you running from multiple angles – front, back, and side. This allows us to identify key issues in your running form that may be contributing to your pain. For example, you might feel like you’re running perfectly, but the video may show that your hip is dropping, you’re over-striding, or your foot is hitting too far in front of you on one side but not the other. This is where we can pinpoint issues like heel pain and make adjustments to help improve your form.

The video analysis is a game-changer for many of our patients because it shows them that their pain isn’t just in their heads. Most runners start to feel a noticeable difference within the first two or three sessions. As they start to see improvements, they become energized and motivated to continue their treatment.
